1. Pay your Student and Campus Life Contribution (CVEC)

 

Introduced by the Ministry, this compulsory contribution goes toward welcoming students and providing them with social, health, cultural, and sports services.

The CVEC must be paid before administrative enrollment.

 

NB: CROUS scholarship holders and students in continuing education do not pay the CVEC but must visit the website to obtain a certificate of exemption.

   

2. Enroll on the University of Strasbourg’s website

 

To reach Unistra's administrative enrollment website, click here

Connect to the website:

Username:

  • For students who went through Parcoursup : P25 followed by the 7 digits of your Parcoursup file number, or P250 followed by the 6 digits of your file number
  • For students who have not gone through Parcoursup:  EM + your applicant code 

Password:

  • Birth date: DDMMYYYY

Example: your applicant code is 27812 and your date of birth is July 16, 2006. 

→ Your username is "EM27812" and password "16072006". 

  

Enroll at the University and pay enrollment fees:

When you enroll online, you must pay a tuition deposit (€600) and a University enrollment fee (€255), a total of €855 (€600 for scholarship students). 

  

Different methods of payment are offered to you:   

  • Secure online payment by bank card in one or three installments when you enroll online on the Unistra website (processing time: one to three days).   
  • Payment by bank transfer (processing time: two to three weeks). If you wish to pay by bank transfer, please contact inscription-pge@em-strasbourg.eu
 
Practical Information
Payment by bank transfer extends the processing time of your file by two to three weeks! Opt for online payment by bank card, if possible. Payment in several installments is only possible by bank card. It is not possible to save your information in order to pay at a later date.

 

3. Enroll on EM Strasbourg’s financial platform  

 

Connect to the platform:

  • Connection link: here

    • Email address: the personal address you gave to the School during the admissions process 

    • Password: the first letter of your last name, first letter of your first name (in lowercase) and your date of birth with slashes (DD/MM/YYYY) 

Example: Dupont Marie born on June 12, 2002 → dm12/06/2002 

For compound names: first letter of first last name + first letter of first first name 

Example: Jean-Pierre Grand-Chateau born on Feb. 01, 2000 → gj01/02/2000

 

Pay your tuition in three steps:

Step  1 - My profile : Review and complete your personal information

Step  2 - Documents : Upload documents required for your enrollment

Step 3 - Finances : Select a payment method and upload the required documents if necessary. You must electronically sign your administrative file.

A confirmation email will be sent to you. Please check your email regularly in case the admissions office asks you to make changes to your documents.

 

4. Activate your digital and social work environment (Ernest) and request your student card (PassCampus)

 

Before the start of the school year, you will receive an email to activate your digital and social work enivronment (Ernest). Ernest enables you to access your student email inbox, academic documents, schedule, grades, etc.

 

Your card will be available for pickup at the Registrar's Office one month following your request.

 

5. Submit your supporting documents on the PJWeb platform

 

Once you have completed your online enrollment and activated your Ernest account, you will receive an email detailing the required documents. You must upload the supporting documents to the PJWeb platform in order to finalize your enrollment.

If you do not have all the documents, you can submit the ones you already have and log on at a later date to submit the missing documents. The enrollment team will approve or refuse each document submitted. If a document is refused, an email will be sent to you specifying the reason for the refusal.

 

6. Choose your language courses 
  

Select the languages that you would like to study during your first year at EM Strasbourg. 

 

1. First foreign language - Mandatory

English is the mandatory first foreign language. You will take a placement test at the start of the year to determine your group. 

 

2. Second foreign language - Mandatory

All students must study a second foreign language. You will take a placement test at the start of the year to determine your group.

3. Third foreign language - Optional

You can choose an optional third foreign language. Language courses are offered throughout your studies. You may continue studying the third foreign language you began in high school or start learning a new one. Please note that this option is not available to students who have chosen a beginner-level second foreign language (LV2) or who join a student organization at the School.

Important information
If you have not completed your enrollment, you will not be able to acquire a certificate of enrollment, to take exams, or to obtain certain scholarships. Your choice of electives and exchange destinations will also be affected.

 

 

You are now enrolled!

 

You have completed the necessary steps for your enrollment.
