Second-Year Bachelor’s Student

1. Pay your Student and Campus Life Contribution (CVEC)

Introduced by the Ministry, this compulsory contribution goes toward welcoming students and providing them with social, health, cultural, and sports services.    

The CVEC must be paid before administrative enrollment.

• Amount: €105

NB: CROUS scholarship holders and students in continuing education do not pay the CVEC but must visit the website to obtain a certificate of exemption.

2. Enroll on EM Strasbourg’s financial platform

Pay tuition in six steps:

Step 1: Check your personal information and enter any missing information   

Step 2: Check your program and tick the boxes according to your situation  

Step 3: Choose your desired mode of payment 

Step 4: Submit all the required documents to validate your financial file   

Step 5: Go to the last tab and electronically sign your file 

Step 6: Your file is then processed by the Registrar's Office's enrollment team

If certain documents are not acceptable, our team will contact you by email. Please check your student and/or personal email inbox and provide requested information.

Step 2: Click "Connect via Ernest"

3. Complete your administrative enrollment on the University of Strasbourg’s website

Pay enrollment fees:

When you reenroll online, you must pay €778, which corresponds to a €178 Unistra enrollment fee and a €600 tuition deposit (scholarship students only pay €600).

Different methods of payment are offered to you:

• Secure online payment by bank card in one or three installments when you reenroll online on the Unistra website (processing time: one to three days).   
• Payment by bank transfer (processing time: two to three weeks). If you wish to pay by bank transfer, please contact inscription-bai@em-strasbourg.eu

Reenroll at the University of Strasbourg:

Step 1: Click on “Réinscription à l’Université de Strasbourg”

Step 2: Click on “Inscription dans une nouvelle filière ou réorientation”

Step 3: Click on “Réinscription en ligne”

Step 4: Tick the box “J’ai pris connaissance des conditions générales”

4. Complete your course selection

We invite you to choose the courses you wish to take during your second year at EM Strasbourg before August 17, 2025.

5. Take your language placement tests

These language placement tests aim to find out more about your current level in order to provide you with instruction adapted to your needs and enabling you to progress in the best possible conditions.

It is not an exam but a tool designed to help you feel at ease in your future language group. 

Below, you will find access links to the tests in English, German, and Spanish. You must take the test in English and in the language you studied as your second foreign language in first year.
